General

Whereas the other training course on Food Contact Materials focuses primarily on European legislation, with legislation for plastics as a common thread, this training course focuses primarily on Dutch legislation for food contact materials. For contact materials other than plastics, such as paper, cardboard, steel and glass, European legislation is lacking. For these materials we therefore have to rely on national legislation. In addition, there is currently a lot of attention in the Netherlands for MOSH/MOAH. This training will provide practical tools and enable the participants to comply with the Dutch food contact materials legislation and to practically deal with the MOSH/MOAH issue.

This day will cover the Dutch legislation that applies to non-European regulated contact materials, such as glass, steel paper and cardboard. Materials used for packaging, transport or production of food. There is a lot of confusion around MOSH/MOAH. In this training we teach you how a company, despite all these uncertainties, can be compliant with the requirements of retail organizations. A practical tool will be provided.

Target audience

This training is intended for anyone from both the food and packaging industries who is responsible for, or has duties related to, food contact materials, such as glass, paper and cardboard. For example, quality managers, buyers, HACCP team members, technical managers, process technologists and product developers. The training is also suitable for (internal) auditors.
