This in-depth training teaches you to look critically at the analysis plan and at the results. To prevent you from doing this only in case of accidents, the training goes deeper into processing and interpreting short- and long-term microbiological data. Recognizing trends and signals of microbiological problems is important here. (Further) searching for sources of contamination and dealing with them is covered in the training. This includes proper sampling and statistical operations such as mean, spread, standard deviation and trend analysis. This allows trainees to arrive at a good EHMO (First Aid for Microbiological Accidents). Because a good analysis plan and proper processing of the results, should lead to early detection of infections and appropriate response.

This training is designed for experienced (quality) employees in organizing, assessing and assuring food safety(HACCP team).

Target

The purpose of the training is that you learn to systematically chart the results of microbiological analyses so that you recognize signals of microbiological faster and know how to adequately address them.

After the training, the student will be able to:

  1. Perform statistical operations such as mean, spread, standard deviation and trend analysis.
  2. Finding and interpreting limits for microorganisms;
  3. Review microbiological analysis results;
  4. Devise follow-up analyses or improvements.

The aim of this classroom (online) training course is for you to get a better grip in your work on how to assess the microbiological analyses you commission and how to correctly interpret and apply the criteria set out in food hygiene laws and regulations. Upon completion of the training you will receive a certificate.
