General

'Labels of animal snacks sometimes contain misleading or even prohibited information'. So reads the NVWA website. This is what the NVWA sees during inspections of complete feed and animal snacks. The legislation on this is therefore complicated. Do you make the labels yourself? Then you are responsible for a correct label. Do you want to know if your labels are correct?

This practical training course covers everything you need to know to prepare a pet food (pet food) label from head to tail. European and national legislation is of course important for this, but the standards of the European pet food industry umbrella federation (FEDIAF) are at least as important. There are rules from product naming to claims. Précon has the knowledge is house of pet food labeling and has been checking pet food labels weekly for years and has thus faced various issues.

During this training you will gain insight into national and European legislation and become familiar with the most recent guidelines from the industry association. You will learn how to apply the legislation in practice. The rules for a label apply to all information carriers, including: packaging, internet, social media, flyers, banners and advertising messages.

"I would recommend this training, but to someone who has yet to learn the basics of legislation labeling & claims. I found that I had already figured out a fair amount and therefore already mastered the basics. To really advance in content, the training was not deep enough for me."
"Lots of subject matter expertise and room for specific questions. Trainer came across a bit nervous and fidgety, which made the information given not come across as confident. While in my opinion she is very knowledgeable."
