Why this HACCP team (level 3) training?

Do you work in the food industry and are part of an HACCP team? Then in-depth knowledge of hazards, risks and control measures is essential. During this HACCP team training (Level 3) you will learn the steps of HACCP and develop the skills to actively contribute to discussions and decision making within the HACCP team.

This training meets the training requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 852/2004, ISO/FSSC 22000, IFS and BRC standards. Upon completion, you will receive an official certificate.

  • Can identify risks and determine control measures.
  • Contribute to food safety and an effective HACCP team.
  • Be able to clearly explain HACCP policies to colleagues and employees.

Who is this HACCP team training intended for?

This training is ideal for anyone in the food industry involved in the HACCP team. The content is tailored to MBO+/HBO level and meets HACCP Level 3, as used in the UK.

Topics HACCP team training

The training begins with an e-learning, followed by classroom training. You can take the e-learning at your own pace and at any time. The classroom training covers the following topics:

  • The seven principles and twelve steps of HACCP according to the Codex Alimentarius;
  • A brief overview of European laws and certification standards (BRC, IFS and ISO/FSSC 22000);
  • The role of basic conditions;
  • Allergens, chemical, microbiological and physical hazards;
  • Identifying hazards and determining risks;
  • Selecting management measures;
  • Identify and control CCPs;
  • The difference between verifying and validating.

Upon completion of the training, you will take a test, after which you will receive an HACCP Team Training (Level 3) certificate.
