EU legislation for food contact materials.

Food contact materials (machine parts, production tools, process equipment, but especially packaging) enjoy the attention of certification bodies and control authorities. These are increasingly looking for proof of compliance with legislation such as Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 (the framework regulation) and Regulation (EU) 10/2011 (the "plastic directive"). In practice, it is difficult to comply with this legislation; it often raises more questions than answers. The correct drafting and assessment of the Declaration of Conformity is also difficult. In addition, the assessment of the supplier documentation received requires expertise.

Deze training Voedselcontactmaterialen biedt inzicht in relevante Europese wetgeving en de best practices rondom de Verklaring van Overeenstemming en migratietesten. Rode draad is de wetgeving voor kunststoffen, aangezien dit het enige veelvoorkomende materiaal is met een Europese regeling. De overige soorten contactmaterialen zijn veelal nationaal gereguleerd, deze komen aan bod tijdens de training NL wetgeving voor Voedselcontactmaterialen.

This is a blended training where you first go through an e-learning module before coming to the classroom training. The e-learning introduces you to the legislation surrounding food contact materials, giving you the opportunity in the classroom training to go deeper into the content and apply it directly in practice.
