Did you know that you should never take a phone or smartwatch into an ATEX environment? Special rules apply in an ATEX environment because there is a chance of an explosion in such an area. Do you know what measures to take to prevent an explosion within your company? When employees are working in places where explosive atmospheres may occur, they must have sufficient awareness and knowledge of the hazards and explosions, according to the ATEX legislation directive ATEX 153 Annex 2.
In our online explosion safety (ATEX) course, production employees learn the importance of ATEX regulations, what an EVD is and how to translate the rules from this into practice. In short: at the end of the training, employees know what they should and should not do in a hazardous area and why.
The e-learning is fully up-to-date with the latest legislation. In addition, information has been added on the explosion hazard in dust layers and exercises and examples have been improved.
