Sharing, collaborating and connecting. That is the objective of the Bio Academy, of which Précon has been a partner since 2023. The BioAcademy was created in 2017 as a digital platform to bring together all learning offerings for the organic sector. The organic sector consists of companies in primary production, processing, trade and retail.

About the BioAcademy

The BioAcademy organizes all kinds of activities, such as inspiration days, workshops, sounding board groups, the Bio Knowledge Week, the Bio Field Day and, of course, is a familiar face at the Bio Fair that takes place every year.

Précon and sustainability

Précon is engaged in advising and training in the field of sustainable quality management in food and non-food and in its approach Précon always opts for sustainable solutions with respect for the environment and society. From this mission it was a logical choice for us to become a partner of the BioAcademy. This way we can unlock our knowledge and skills as consultants and our range of training and e-learning through this platform and make them more easily accessible for food processing companies in the organic sector.

Training offer

This is primarily about basic training required for all food processing companies, such as food safety and food defense. And it's about our classroom training. For example, think about sustainability claims on packaging. We have a lot of knowledge about that, which can be very useful for organic companies. Our consultants can additionally advise well on, for example, sustainable packaging. And we can help organic companies put the quality system in order for SKAL certification. Even for conducting an ESG check, you can contact Précon. This way we help companies to further develop their employees.

BioAcademy activities

In addition to making our training offerings transparent and accessible, as a partner we also participate in activities organized by the BioAcademy. This allows us to think actively and on a strategic level about future developments. Because of our years of experience in the processing industry and because we know and understand the challenges our customers face, we can make a meaningful contribution. In this way, we can help companies move forward.

Beyond contributions, Précon also learns a lot from the other partners operating in other parts of the chain. For example, we learn more about organic farming and the challenges of growing organic sales in the coming years. The Organic Business Leaderschip Academy (OBLA) is another example of a course that has inspired us and helps us to think further about where we can contribute. Because that's what we think is important: making a positive contribution to society.

The activities of the BioAcademy inspire us and ensure that we are well informed and stay sharp on the challenges in the field. Sharing knowledge and information, collaborating on the goal of more sustainable production and connecting with other partners gives us the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable world. In this way, we want to collaborate on chains that meet the expectations of current and future generations. Because that suits Précon: practical, skilled and involved.
