An accident is in a small corner, we all know that. Especially at work in situations we do every day. Then we stop thinking about the risks because things always go well. Right? It is unfortunately still regularly in the news: employees who die or are seriously injured at work. Especially in everyday situations, it is so important to regularly reflect on safety and repeat the rules to everyone. It keeps you on your toes.
As an employer, you must consider whether the work in the company can be performed more safely and whether additional measures and protection are needed. As an employee, you must take not only your own safety seriously every day, but also that of your colleagues! So watch your back when you "just want to do a quick job. Damage and injury are often preventable when safety is everyone's priority.
Safety awareness can be trained. Where can things go wrong? How should you behave and protect yourself? What should you do and what should you pay attention to? And what do you do if something does go wrong unexpectedly?
With our updated Safe to Work online training course, which we developed with KWA business advisors, people who work in warehouses and manufacturing can learn about workplace hazards and how to protect themselves. The training takes you around the outdoor area, through the warehouse and into the manufacturing environment, where you learn to recognize hazards and learn how to work safely. As an employee, you'll also gain some insight into what employers should do to make a workplace safer. And some emergencies are covered so you know how to act in those situations. For example, do you know what to do if there is a fire?
It has become an interactive training, which you as a student cannot experience passively. As a trainee, you are directly addressed and playfully come into contact with all situations. The training uses the services of Omni VR by using 360° photography to paint a vivid picture of the work environment: visual information is in fact better remembered. We hope that this interactive training will help reduce the number of accidents. Because that's where we need to go.
The new e-learning is available from Précon and from KWA Bedrijfsadviseurs. Do you have questions or comments about the updated course? Or would you like to take a look at the course? Contact us at +31 (0)30 - 65 66 010 or learning@precongroup.com.
