5 Tips to keep out pests

In your business, you want to prevent nuisance pests. Here are 5 tips to keep pests out:

1. Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible. Should you still want them open, make sure a screen is installed.
2. Ensure a clean working environment. So stick to the cleaning plan and make sure everything is neatly cleaned up. Especially food left behind can attract pests.
3. Make sure garbage containers are closed. Otherwise, you are very likely to have pests settling in them.
4. Loading and unloading. When loading and unloading, doors are often open for long periods of time. Try to limit this by really only having doors open during loading and unloading. In addition, check incoming goods for pests.
5. Recognize traces of pests. By learning about the pests' tracks, you will know when you are suffering from pests and can take appropriate measures in time.
