Toy Safety Assessment.
Children are always discovering and trying out toys in every possible way, even what they are not intended for. Performing a safety assessment is therefore mandatory for manufacturers placing toys on the market, according to Article 18 from the Toys Directive.
The safety assessment consists of an assessment of the potential hazards your product may pose. For the child, but also for the people around them. In addition to the intended use of the product, you must also consider foreseeable use. Based on the conclusions in that assessment, you must improve and modify your product where necessary to put the safest possible product on the market.
Mapping security risks.
Our consultants have the knowledge to assess your toys from the user's point of view. This involves looking at the intended and reasonably foreseeable use. In this way, key safety risks can be identified and incorporated into a report.
