Product recall.

A product recall is the recall of a product from the market. There can be several reasons for this:

  • you yourself have found that despite all your efforts the product does not meet the safety, health or quality requirements set,
  • an accident has occurred with or due to the product,
  • the authorities have investigated your product and found that your product does not meet all safety and health requirements.

Depending on the severity of the safety and health risks, there are different types of actions to take. It may be a full recall, where the product is recalled from the market and from consumers. It may also be that you are no longer allowed to sell the product.

Recall procedure.
