In close consultation with Blokker's category managers, Précon professionals define the desired quality requirements for the products before they are sourced from manufacturers in the EU and Asia. This facilitates finding the right manufacturer and significantly reduces the risk of quality and safety issues.

An additional advantage is that the quality requirements and specifications can be used directly in the QA and QC processes. In consultation with Blokker, Précon has set up these processes as efficiently and effectively as possible, so that Blokker has to use fewer resources to deal with incidents and problems.

The challenges of having your own private label

For private label products, Blokker is legally considered the manufacturer of the products. As a result, Blokker has more obligations with regard to product quality and safety for these products than when selling products from other brand manufacturers. The dedicated team at Précon ensures that these product quality assurance obligations are also met and that Blokker is compliant with all current laws and regulations.
