A friend of mine said it some time ago, "One day we will be colleagues."
At that time I laughed about it and could not imagine that we would end up in the same work field. I saw how she and her colleagues at Précon were passionate and enthusiastic about their work as consultants. I had always resolved to remain self-employed, because a permanent job with a company did not appeal to me. Still, I decided to give it a shot at Précon. And? I soon discovered that my ideas about the - generally - hierarchical corporate world were all disproved at Précon.
"Full of pride, I sent her the app: ' We're going to be colleagues!'" she said .
My start at Précon fell in the middle of the corona crisis. Very difficult for me, because I was eager to get to know all the colleagues. Fortunately, Précon organized all kinds of online activities, which made me feel involved and welcome through my laptop screen. When we finally got to speak to each other physically, I felt as if we as colleagues had known each other for ages.
At Précon, the working atmosphere immediately felt warm, flexible and non-committal. I benefited tremendously from my friendly colleagues who provided me with advice and help. I am a senior consultant and food safety expert. In addition, I have developed into a trainer, which I find incredibly cool.
