For me, Précon was an unexpected turn in my career. With a degree in health sciences, it was not very obvious that I would end up in the food industry.

I started my career with quality positions at healthcare facilities and from there made a transition to a frozen food company. This was my first encounter with the food industry. Three years later I was approached by Précon asking if I was open to an introductory interview. It seemed like an interesting challenge and a great opportunity to develop myself further in quality management within the food industry. The knowledge and work experience I brought with me was a valuable addition to the competencies already present in the team.

Initially, my knowledge of food safety was limited. In the beginning, this took some getting used to for me, but thanks to Précon and my colleagues, I was able to develop and specialize into the consultant I am today.

I love being in contact with clients and working with them to find the best fit solution. Customization is essential, after all, every client and issue is different. This makes my job varied and gives me the freedom to work out my own ideas. This has allowed me to focus on automation, project management and mentoring colleagues in recent years. I like the fact that I can transfer my knowledge to novice consultants who are in the same place where I once stood.
