Renewed: E-learning course on food laws in the food industry

Many food companies produce for the Dutch market and for export. When products are exported to Israel or Islamic countries, a certificate stating that the products are kosher or halal is required.

Most people know what kosher and halal mean: they are the rules around food and drink from Judaism and Islam. But not everyone knows the specific requirements for producing kosher and halal products. The training
Food Laws in the Food Industry is intended for employees in the food industry involved in the production of kosher and halal products. Which substances are allowed in them and which are not? Are there special requirements for cleaning? This training answers these questions.

In this training, the employee will learn more about the background of the food laws in Judaism and Islam. In addition, the employee will learn those things that are important in the production of kosher and halal products.

The online training is suitable for all employees working in a manufacturing environment.

We have revamped the training in a number of ways:

  • A complete overview is included with everything that should not be eaten or drunk according to Islamic and Jewish food laws. This is also downloadable as a PDF.
