Microbiology for the food industry is a complex subject. Many companies struggle with microbiological hazards and microbiological contaminations are often in the news. To properly assess and adequately address the risks requires a lot of knowledge. And then you have to start at the beginning. Therefore, starting this year, Précon offers a training program in which companies can be trained in microbiology for the food industry from the ground up. This e-learning module is the first step, explaining the basics and giving you a good understanding of the measures taken to prevent contamination and spoilage. This will allow you to better assess at work what factors pose a danger and what measures can be taken. And, after this training you will be well prepared for the classroom training in microbiology, which goes deeper into the practice of microbiological controls.

The training lasts 120 minutes and you can (re)take it at any time and go through it completely at your own pace. The training provides a lot of information on the basics of microbiology, microorganisms, growth factors, control measures and preservation techniques. After the training you will know the microbiological risks of most product groups and what is done to contain them.
