E-learning for Jumbo Supermarkets.
What is the trigger?
From the existing, long-standing cooperation between Jumbo and Précon, Jumbo felt the need to inform suppliers about legal requirements, policy and an example of practical implementation.
Online module with videos.
Together with Précon, Jumbo has developed an online module in which different speakers speak. The private label supplier gets to see different videos of speakers who address important topics from their expertise. A major advantage is that the module can be followed by any supplier at a time and place of their choice. One of the first topics covered in this way is Listeria and Infoblade 85.
Viewing results with Elzi
All modules are in Précons learning management system Elzi. After registration of the relevant supplier in Elzi, invitations are sent automatically. This allows Jumbo to see in Elzi which suppliers are invited to the module and who have already gone through it.

Continuing education courses
The first module proved a success and, following the Listeria module, Jumbo and Précon have now developed online courses for Jumbo suppliers on the topics of: allergen control, filling SIM and sustainable packaging policies.
