Gate training for Alco Energy.
What is the trigger?
How do you make sure that all external tradesmen are aware of the rules at your company? Alco Energy Rotterdam wanted a clear improvement and to ensure that no one could go to work on the site unprepared.
From ppt to digital gateway training.
Everyone had to be aware of safety regulations, general rules and where to go for certain things in the field. For example, think about getting a safe-work permit, where to go? That is also covered in the training.
Précon converted the gate instruction for Alco from powerpoint with paper tests to a short, question-based "gate training" in Dutch and English. Everyone takes this training digitally in Elzi, Précon's learning management system. All people who start work as external employees - through a company or as self-employed workers - receive an invitation in advance to attend the training.
"Converting the large amount of information from the ppt into an easily understandable instruction for everyone was done with great care by Précon."

In a few months, over 600 externals have already been trained. Alco himself can properly monitor who has passed and who has not. And if you haven't passed, you don't enter the field. Another advantage of this training is that someone can choose when and where to take it. This is because the training adapts to the size of your screen and is therefore suitable for the computer, tablet and mobile.
